Job summary

Lewis Personnel Management in the Philippines seeks a Senior Software Architect to lead end-to-end full-stack design and implementation. You will translate requirements into scalable, reliable architectures and guide development, deployment, and optimization efforts.

You will model data in PostgreSQL, design microservices with gRPC, Pub/Sub, event streaming, and WebSockets, containerize with Docker, and drive CI/CD while adopting AI-assisted tools to boost productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or full-stack development.
• Proven experience architecting and designing full-stack solutions from end to end.
• Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL including schema design, data modeling, and migrations.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and messaging technologies (gRPC, Pub/Sub, event streaming, WebSockets).
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized technologies.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and secure software development practices.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as AI coding assistants and AI agents.
• Excellent communication, technical documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design full-stack solutions end to end, from requirements and system architecture to development and deployment.
• Design and develop scalable applications using PostgreSQL, including schemas, data models, queries, and migrations.
• Build and integrate microservices-based architectures using gRPC, Pub/Sub, event streaming, and WebSockets.
• Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and contribute to deployment environments.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines following secure DevOps best practices.
• Evaluate and adopt AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and solution quality.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, product teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Drive architecture decisions and create solution documentation.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, perform better, and reliable.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
