Job summary

Sidglobal in Ortigas, Philippines, is seeking a senior program manager to plan, monitor, and control large banking-technology initiatives. The role focuses on delivering on milestones, managing budgets, and coordinating IT with business units and external vendors across loan origination and loan management domains.

You will lead a cross-functional team, drive change management, provide regular progress reports to governance forums, and ensure risk, issue, and stakeholder management are handled

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in IT development and/or solution delivery for financial services.
• Experienced in implementing Cash Management solution/s in financial institutions.
• Deep technology background with good understanding of SW and Vendor landscapes.
• Project management skills around planning, risk management and issue management.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Act as the primary liaison between IT, business units, executive management, and external vendors. Ensure clear communication, manage expectations, and build strong relationships.
• Experienced in implementing Loan Origination and Loan Management in financial institutions.
• Identify and monitor risks and issues risks associated with the program and taking corrective measures including working with teams to develop solution options.
• Provide comprehensive reports on program progress, challenges, and achievements to senior management and other key stakeholders as well as governance forums.

Responsibilities

• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Have led a team of minimum 5 composed of developers/analyst/project and/or delivery managers leading to a successful deployment of projects of more than 6 months’ duration.
• Facilitate training and change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of the new core banking system by all users.
