Job summary

NCS Philippines is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a Banking Industry Background to lead full lifecycle technology initiatives for financial services clients. Based onsite in Makati, you will guide cross-functional teams, manage budgets, ensure regulatory alignment, and deliver high-impact projects.

You will leverage your deep banking knowledge to navigate core systems, payments, and data security while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience, incl. technology projects in BFSI.
• Deep knowledge of banking operations, core banking, payments, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage complex, mission-critical tech implementations with varying teams.
• Experience with Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methods; select best fit for banking projects.
• Solid SDLC understanding and IT governance familiarity in financial institutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to explain technical concepts to executives.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making under pressure.
• Proficient in PM tools (MS Project, JIRA, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Business/PM; PMP/PRINCE2 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee full lifecycle banking technology projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets and resource allocations for banking needs.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to hit milestones on schedule.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies related to banking requirements.
• Communicate with clients and senior stakeholders through reports and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with banking standards, security protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Track performance against scope, schedule, budget, and quality KPIs.
• Lead requirements gathering and change management to minimize scope creep.
• Capture lessons learned to improve project delivery methods.
• Support business development with technical feasibility insights.
