Job summary

MoneeInsure in Manila is seeking an experienced Insurance Product Development Lead to drive life insurance product design and innovation. You will lead development of new products and refine existing ones, collaborating closely with actuarial, legal, IT, marketing, and sales teams.

Responsibilities include market research, pricing collaboration, regulatory governance, system readiness, and post-launch performance reviews to optimize profitability and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; majors in Mathematics, Economics, Marketing or Business preferred.
• 3–6 years in Life Insurance product development.
• Solid understanding of local regulatory and compliance frameworks for life insurance.
• Familiar with RBC frameworks and market conduct rules.
• Interest in InsurTech trends and digital distribution.
• Experience with digital life insurance platforms is a plus.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities; ability to model business outcomes.
• Proficient in Excel and Power BI; actuarial/product modeling software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating across actuarial, legal, marketing, IT, sales, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and innovation of life insurance products (term, whole life, endowment, investment-linked).
• Improve existing products reflecting customer needs, actuarial soundness, and market competitiveness.
• Conduct market and customer research; translate insights into concepts.
• Generate and assess product ideas based on research and strategic goals; align with departments.
• Coordinate with underwriting, legal, operations, IT, compliance, and marketing.
• Collaborate with actuaries on pricing, reserves, and profitability assumptions.
• Prepare product specifications, distribution strategies, and marketing summaries.
• Ensure governance and regulatory compliance; secure approvals.
• Coordinate system readiness with IT; conduct testing and validation.
• Document products (policy wording, marketing materials, manuals) and report performance post-launch.
• Support internal launch communications and training materials.
• Monitor lifecycle performance and propose refinements or phase-outs.
