Job summary

Advanced Energy in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Buyer – Indirect Commodity to oversee procurement for indirect spend and ensure uninterrupted supplies for multiple business groups. This role reports to the Manager, Purchasing and focuses on cost, quality, and delivery performance.

The position requires leading RFQ/RFP processes, price negotiations, and supplier performance management, with broad collaboration across Operations, Finance, IT, and HR to meet corporate objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM or related fields.
• 5+ years managing indirect categories, electronics manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with procurement to pay processes and PO issuance.
• Proficiency with SAP/Ariba/Oracle and MS Office.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and supplier-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactive supplier sourcing and development to support capacity and revenue growth.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes, cost analyses and price negotiations.
• Convert requisitions into POs with pricing validation and accuracy checks.
• Monitor deliveries, expediting, and resolve PO/supplier variances.
• Manage supplier onboarding and maintain accurate supplier data in systems.
• Drive supplier performance via KPIs and regular business reviews.
