Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in the Philippines is seeking a Test Engineer IV to lead embedded software/hardware testing for IIoT product solutions. This role focuses on hands-on testing across SaaS products, validating interfaces, and ensuring quality through regression testing.

You will guide test automation, coordinate with embedded SW, cloud, and hardware teams, and drive defect resolution in a fast-paced environment. Strong English communication and IoT testing experience are essential.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in computer/electronic/electrical engineering or computer science.
• 5–10+ years of product-based testing experience.
• Experience in IoT products, embedded, gateway, and cloud testing.
• Proficient with TestRail for test planning and execution.
• Proficient with defect-tracking tools like Redmine and JIRA.
• Strong English, excellent communication, and teamwork.
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and software verification/validation.
• Experience with Python-based test automation.
• HW understanding: schematics, troubleshooting HW issues.
• Knowledge in instrumentation, valves is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out hands-on system embedded SW/hardware testing for SaaS products.
• Interface between Testing and Development to reproduce defects and perform validation.
• Plan testing and automation activities and mentor team members.
• Identify, evaluate, and communicate project status to R&D management.
• Represent Test team in cross-functional meetings and manage schedules and quality.
• Coordinate feedback and deployment issues with customers and internal teams.
• Participate in on-site deployments/demos/presentations of the IIOT Product Solution.
