Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant hydrology experience.
• Demonstrated experience in streamflow analysis and flood estimation.
• Experience working with tropical catchments.
• Strong knowledge of hydrological analysis, statistical methods, and flood assessment.
• Experience supporting hydropower feasibility and design studies.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and technical-reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hydrological assessments for hydropower projects.
• Analyze historical and available streamflow data and develop flow series.
• Undertake flow-duration curve and water-availability assessments.
• Conduct flood-frequency analysis and estimate design floods.
• Assess rainfall, runoff, catchment characteristics, and hydrological variability.
• Evaluate hydrological risks and implications for hydropower scheme design.
• Develop hydrological inputs for hydraulic and engineering studies.
• Assess hydrology of tropical catchments, data limitations, and uncertainty.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and recommendations.
• Coordinate with engineers, geologists, and other technical specialists.
