• Bachelor's degree in hydrology, geology, civil engineering, or environmental science is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and assessments of potential water sources, including rivers, lakes, reservoirs, springs, and groundwater sources.
• Perform water availability assessments and prepare technical reports on the quantity, reliability, and sustainability of identified water sources.
• Carry out field investigations and data collection activities, including streamflow measurements, groundwater level monitoring, and site inspections.
• Gather, analyze, and verify hydrological, meteorological, climatological, and environmental data relevant to water resource assessment.
• Evaluate factors affecting water availability and source sustainability, such as rainfall patterns, rainfall intensity, humidity, evaporation, watershed conditions, land use, and climate variability.
• Assist in the preparation of watershed, catchment, and groundwater resource assessments.
• Process, manage, and analyze field and secondary data using appropriate software and database management tools.
• Utilize GIS, Remote Sensing, Google Earth, and other geospatial tools for water resource mapping and analysis.
• Coordinate with government agencies, local stakeholders, and other relevant entities to obtain and validate technical information.
