Job summary

Hyphens Pharma International Ltd. is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager Human Resources to lead the Philippines HR function. You will oversee payroll (directly or via vendor), ensure statutory compliance, and manage benefits, budgeting and reporting while supervising one Admin.

You will drive recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement, acting as the main HR contact for the country and aligning with HQ policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, psychology or related field.
• 5+ years HR generalist experience in the Philippines, with payroll processing or vendor mgmt.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Code, DOLE regs, BIR/SSS/PhilHealth/Pag-IBIG.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll end-to-end or oversee external payroll vendor to ensure accuracy and timely disbursement.
• Ensure statutory compliance and timely filings/remittance for BIR, SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG.
• Administer employee benefits programs and respond to related queries.
• Monitor HR/payroll budget, flag variances and cost drivers to HQ.
• Prepare monthly and ad-hoc payroll, headcount and HR cost reports for HQ and local management.
• Advise managers on employee relations issues per Philippine Labor Code and DOLE.
• Keep HR policies/contracts current with Philippine employment law.
• Run full-cycle recruitment for PH headcount and manage onboarding/offboarding.
• Support performance management and employee engagement programs locally.
• Supervise HR Admin and maintain accurate HRIS data for PH entity.
