This senior, on-the-ground HR role covers the full employee lifecycle for about 60 employees, operating as the Philippines' primary HR lead and coordinating with HQ for policy alignment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on, generalist HR experience in the Philippines, including direct payroll processing or payroll vendor management experience
• Strong working knowledge of the Philippine Labor Code, DOLE regulations, and statutory requirements (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
• Prior experience supervising or mentoring at least one junior HR team member is a plus.
• Comfortable operating independently as the sole HR lead on the ground, with sound judgment on when to elevate
• Working knowledge of budgeting and HR/payroll cost reporting
• Proficiency in HRIS/payroll systems and Excel
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and organisation skills

Responsibilities

• Process payroll end-to-end, or oversee and manage an external payroll vendor/provider, ensuring accuracy and on‑time disbursement
• Ensure statutory compliance and timely filing/remittance for BIR, SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG
• Administer employee benefits programmes and respond to related employee queries
• Manage and monitor the HR/payroll budget, flagging variances and cost drivers to HQ
• Prepare monthly and ad‑hoc payroll, headcount and HR cost reports for HQ and local management
• Advise managers and handle employee relations matters, disciplinary processes and grievances in line with the Philippine Labor Code and DOLE requirements
• Keep policies, contracts and HR practices current with Philippine employment law and regulatory changes
• Manage documentation for performance‑related and separation cases, engaging external labour counsel where required
• Manage full‑cycle recruitment for Philippines headcount, partnering with hiring managers on role requirements, screening and offers
• Run onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a positive and compliant employee experience
• Roll out and support the performance management framework and cycle locally
• Coordinate local employee engagement initiatives aligned with Group programmes
• Supervise, coach and review the work of the (HR) Admin, ensuring quality and timeliness of day‑to‑day HR administration if this is manage by the Admin.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems/HRIS data for the Philippines entity
• Act as the primary HR point of contact for the Philippines Country Head and business leaders on operational HR matters
• Escalate policy exceptions, cross‑border matters and matters with Group‑wide implications to the Head of HR (HQ), when needed.
• Support ad‑hoc HR projects and initiatives cascaded from HQ (e.g., new systems rollout, Group policy implementation) as and when required.
