Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group seeks a Housekeeping Manager to own the guests' experience related to cleanliness and visual impressions onboard. You will ensure seamless execution of premium service that is exceptional and memorable.

The role requires outstanding hospitality, communication, and organizational skills, plus effective decision-making abilities. You will train and lead Supervisors and Crew, maintaining a strong floor presence to deliver flawless guest service.

Qualifications

• Two to three years progressive Housekeeping managerial experience, preferable in upscale hotel, resort, or cruise ship.
• Shipboard experience is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling and safety related procedures, equipment and PPE.
• Knowledgeable about talent assessment techniques, quality service standards and guest satisfaction, development of crew/management, leadership and coaching.
• Knowledge of HR policies and practices.
• Working knowledge of computers and software such as Excel, Word and related Company programs (SQM, OCIMS, Fidelio, LGA, Medallia, Kronos).
• Working knowledge of financial aspects, budgeting, cost containment, inventories and C&R.
