Job summary

Bolder Group in the Philippines is seeking a Governance Manager to lead the governance team and oversee regulatory and compliance activities across jurisdictions. You will drive client onboarding, KYC, AML and regulatory reporting, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in governance or related fields, with strong leadership, attention to detail, and a proactive, client-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive governance, corporate services, fund administration, or compliance experience.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance, regulatory requirements, and KYC/AML frameworks.
• Proven track record of reviewing work, managing deliverables, and guiding junior team members.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, solutions-driven, client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day governance team operations and filing with regulatory authorities across jurisdictions.
• Draft, review, and enhance standardised and bespoke legal documents and corporate instruments.
• Manage client onboarding activities, including bank openings and KYC/due diligence.
• Maintain clear client and stakeholder communication and timely delivery of issues.
• Oversee AML, regulatory, and tax reporting deliverables (FATCA/CRS).
• Monitor regulatory developments and update internal policies accordingly.
• Lead, coach, and review junior team members to ensure quality and consistency.
• Identify process improvements and standardisation within the team.
• Escalate complex issues to senior management as needed.
• Support internal initiatives and ad hoc projects.
