Job summary

OB CAPITAL is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer focused on Go and distributed systems to join a high-performance software team serving global tech enterprises. You will design, build, and own scalable microservices and APIs, with Python as a secondary stack, in a fast-paced agile environment.

You will work on highly available systems at scale, ensure reliability, and partake in code reviews and ceremonies. Required: 5+ years backend experience, strong Go concurrency, AWS and PostgreSQL, and

Qualifications

5+ years of solid backend engineering experience.
At least 2 years of Go as primary production language.
Strong Go concurrency (goroutines, channels, mutex, WaitGroup, context).
Solid microservices architecture and event-driven design.
Hands-on AWS experience and PostgreSQL proficiency.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain microservices using Go with Python as a secondary stack.
Develop highly available distributed systems operating at global scale.
Build and optimize APIs interacting with real-time data pipelines.
Own scalability, performance, and reliability across services.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, and code reviews.
