Job summary

Orangeandbronze is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Go/GoLang) to design, build, and scale microservices in a distributed systems environment. You will work on real-time data pipelines, APIs, and global-scale services, with Go as the primary language and Python for supporting tasks.

You will own performance, reliability, and scalability, participate in Agile ceremonies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

5+ years of backend engineering experience.
2+ years of Go in production work.
Strong Go concurrency knowledge.
Understanding of microservices and event-driven design.
Experience with AWS (ECS, S3, CloudWatch) and PostgreSQL.
Experience with high-load systems and scale considerations.
English proficiency and ownership mindset.
Experience with Python in services or tooling.
Familiarity with Airflow or similar ETL tools.
Background in high-traffic domains; CI/CD and containerization knowledge.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain microservices using Go with Python as a secondary stack.
Work on distributed systems at global scale and optimize APIs for real-time data pipelines.
Own performance, scalability, and reliability across services.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, and peer reviews.
