Job summary

evoke is seeking a General Ledger Senior Analyst based in Manila to act as the technical SME for general ledger and branch accounting within the RTR function. The role reviews and approves accrual and GL journal entries, owns reconciliation standards, and guides complex GL transactions.

You will support month-end close, management reporting, and audit/regulatory initiatives. This role supports process improvements for the Manila Finance Shared Service Center and collaborates with the GL Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Fully qualified professional accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA) mandatory.
• 2–4 years of progressive GL accounting experience.
• Strong accruals, reconciliations, and month-end close experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve accrual, prepayment, and GL journal entries.
• Validate accuracy of accrual/prepayment calculations.
• Lead GL Analyst in month-end close activities.
• Escalate issues to GL Manager with recommended actions.
• Own and review GL and branch reconciliation standards.
