Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Senior/Supervisory GCP Data & AI Engineer to join our remote Philippines team. You will help build Gemini Enterprise capabilities, connect client data across clouds, and enable analytics through Looker.

This role requires strong SQL, Python, data modelling, RBAC, and hands-on GCP experience (3–5 years). Certification is preferred and leadership skills are essential for autonomous delivery and client liaison.

Qualifications

• Senior/lead data-and-AI background with commercial experience.
• Experience with data warehousing/lakehouse on BigQuery + GCS.
• Data modelling, schema design and RBAC.
• Commercial Gemini / generative-AI experience - agent creation, conversational analytics, RAG / MCP knowledge.
• Strong SQL and Python.
• GCP certification preferred but not mandatory, strong candidates may be uncertified.
• 3–5 years hands-on GCP experience.
• Technical leadership and delivery oversight, able to operate autonomously.
• Strong communication with client heads and leads.

Responsibilities

• Build Gemini Enterprise capabilities that connect client data and deliver AI agents and analytics.
• Connect and model client data across clouds and sources using BigQuery and GCS.
• Apply data modelling, schema design and RBAC.
• Enable self-service analytics for non-technical users through agent creation and MCP.
• Deliver governed, trusted data and insights via Looker with standardized, multi-tenant patterns.
