Job summary

The Citco Group Limited is seeking a senior Real Estate Accountant to join our Alabang office. You will oversee IFRS/US GAAP-based ledgers, prepare financial statements, and supervise staff to deliver timely reporting for complex fund structures.

Qualifications include a accounting degree with professional designation, 4+ years in real estate accounting, and strong communication. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems plus readiness to work on-site in Alabang are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master level degree in accounting.
Professional accounting designation is preferred.
Designated accountant or working towards CPA.
4+ years of public/private real estate accounting work experience.
2+ years of supervising/coaching staff.
Experience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements.
Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
Experience in Limited Partnership accounting a plus.
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.
Motivated, bright and diligent individual who is driven to meet deadlines.
A Team player who is able to manage individual responsibilities.
Sound judgment, problem solving and analytical skills.
Liaise with property management companies.
Knowledge of real estate multi-family and commercial real estate accounting.
Advanced level MS Excel and proficient with MS Word, MS PowerPoint.
Knowledge of MRI, Yardi, or Investran a plus.
Amenable to work and be assigned in our Alabang office.

Responsibilities

Complete and review of operational deliverables in line with SLAs with clients.
Act as central point of contact for clients.
Assist Operations Manager in allocation of work to staff and workflow improvements.
Assist staff with their work and prepare more complex deliverables.
Resolve open items with clients.
Ensure client deadlines are met.
Support the conversion of new clients and existing migrations.
Liaise with auditors, legal counsel, investors.
Review quarterly/monthly reports and working papers including reconciliations.
Review capital activity pertaining to the funds (Capital Call and Distribution).
Review LP and GP allocations; review fees, waterfall, clawback calculations.
Prepare trial balances and related working papers.
Complete financial statements, footnotes and Partner Capital Statements.
