Meta Capital Securities, Inc. is expanding its Accounting and Finance Team in the Philippines, offering a full-time onsite role. The position focuses on financial reporting, investment monitoring, and regulatory compliance as the brokerage business grows in new markets.

The ideal candidate holds a CPA, has 5–7 years of fund/accounting experience, and can mentor staff while coordinating with auditors and regulators. Strong MS Office skills and familiarity with trading platforms are needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with CPA license required.
• 5–7 years accounting experience, preferably fund accounting in brokerage/mutual fund.
• Auditing firm experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of banking/financial services and asset management products is advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Office and SFI software (WinStockSS.Net).
• Familiarity with trading systems (PSEConnect, Bloomberg) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports (trial balance, income statement, equity).
• Monitor investments and pricing/valuations; manage gains/losses.
• Perform reconciliations (Broker, Custodian, Bank).
• Assist annual GAAP/IFRS audits and audit footnotes.
• Ensure compliance with SRC Rules, PSE Trading Rules and AMLA.
• Mentor accounting staff and oversee deliverables.
• Communicate with clients/management on issues.
