Job summary

Strattmont is seeking an Associate, Fund Accountant in the Philippines to support multiple clients in a high-energy environment. You will handle daily P&L reconciliation, trade confirmation, and cash/position reconciliation while maintaining data integrity across securities operations.

The role requires CPA or equivalent, a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance, and 5+ years in alternative investment management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the alternative Investment Management industry (Hedge Fund, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Cryptocurrency)
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or equivalent certification in Philippines
• CPA, equivalent accounting certification in Philippines
• Passionate about working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, and investment operations processes
• Hard-working, self-starter, dedicated, punctual and personable
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Strong accounting and analytical skills
• Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software including Sage Intacct, QuickBooks and Xero as well as knowledge and understanding of well-known Portfolio Management Systems (PMS)
• In depth understanding of investment management and alternative products
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions to solve problems - quickly and competently
• Ability to handle and protect highly confidential financial and personal information reliably and with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Daily P&L reconciliation and reporting
• Daily trade confirmation/settlement
• Cash/position reconciliation
• Security set-up and data integrity maintenance
• Corporate action and proxy voting processing
• Operational functions across securities including equities, ETFs, swaps, options, fixed income, futures, FX; crypto a plus
• Broker/counter-party onboarding
• Learn and adhere to risk parameters, policies and procedures
• Interact with clients/prime brokers/administrators and internal teams
• Support calls with U.S./U.K. Cartesian offices during local business hours
• Assist team members with resolution of complex issues/problems
