Job summary

SGB by BrandSafway is seeking a dynamic Senior Design Engineer to join our Philippines team. You will develop and design formwork systems for construction projects, ensuring safety and engineering standards are met.

The role requires 5+ years in formwork and shoring, strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla) and the ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams. Excellent English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in formwork and shoring.
• Proficiency in CAD software and formwork design tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design formwork systems for construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards.
• Perform structural analysis of formwork and shoring designs to ensure they meet load-bearing capacity requirements and project specifications.
• Produce detailed design drawings, technical specifications, and calculations for formwork systems using CAD software.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in formwork and shoring technologies and incorporate them into designs when applicable.
• Prepare comprehensive materials lists for formwork and shoring systems, ensuring that the required materials align with project specifications and are available in stock.
