Job summary

SMEC in the Philippines seeks an experienced Bridge Engineer with 5–8 years in bridge design and engineering to join our team. You will contribute to structural analysis, detailed design, and design reviews on bridges, leveraging your knowledge of codes and standards.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MIDAS, STAAD, ETABS or similar tools is required, along with strong analytical and communication skills. The role may involve project management, stakeholder engagement, and coordination with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
Licensed Civil Engineer is an advantage.
Must have at least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in bridge design and engineering.
Strong experience in bridge structural analysis, detailed design, and design review of bridge projects.
Knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards, and design practices.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MIDAS, STAAD, ETABS, or similar tools.
Experience in preparing and reviewing engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, and design documentation is preferred.
Experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and coordination with clients and multidisciplinary teams is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Willingness to support projects across various locations as required.
