Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 7 years of post-qualification experience in fixed asset accounting operations.
• Experience with depreciation, accumulated depreciation, work in progress, and fixed asset register controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work autonomously within a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close activities for fixed assets, including depreciation and asset register accuracy.
• Process fixed asset transactions per documented procedures and control requirements.
• Support fixed asset projects and related accounting activities.
• Partner with stakeholders to support global fixed asset processes and resolve operational issues.
• Develop and maintain documented operating procedures (DOP).
• Drive process improvement opportunities and standardization.
