Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
• 7 years of post-qualification experience in fixed asset accounting operations.
• Experience with depreciation, accumulated depreciation, work in progress and asset register controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication, cross-team partnership.
• Analytical skills with attention to detail and control adherence.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work autonomously.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and executive communication.
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close activities for fixed assets, including depreciation, accumulated depreciation, work in progress, and asset register accuracy.
• Process fixed asset transactions per procedures and control requirements.
• Support fixed asset projects and related accounting activities, ensuring proper documentation and timely execution.
• Partner with stakeholders to support global fixed asset processes and resolve issues.
• Respond to ad hoc requests with clear communication and timelines.
• Develop and maintain operating procedures and identify opportunities to streamline controls.
• Build understanding of book of work and deliverable ownership.
• Identify and drive process improvement, including standardization and efficiency.
• Maintain robust stakeholder management and proactive risk handling.
• Establish and maintain backup coverage for critical deliverables.
