Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Financial Control Senior Analyst in Manila to lead critical accounting close processes and ensure accurate financial reporting. You will own Record‑to‑Report activities, advise on complex transactions, and drive compliance with IFRS/US GAAP.

You will collaborate with HR, finance, and operations on cost management, budgeting, and system enhancements to support business transformation. 4–6 years in financial control preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
• CPA, CMA, or CFA preferred for advanced standing.
• 4–6 years in financial control, accounting operations, and reporting (R2R, P2P, O2C).

Responsibilities

• Lead Record-to-Report activities and validate financial data accuracy.
• Oversee month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Ensure payroll and benefits accounting compliance and collaborate with HR.
• Prepare and review financial statements and ensure timely reporting.
• Design reporting systems and support ad-hoc analyses and performance tools.
• Act as SME for complex accounting issues and new standards.
