Job summary

Manulife in the Philippines is seeking a Financial Control Senior Analyst to strengthen our accounting and reporting processes. You will lead period-end close, ensure accurate financial reporting, and drive cost management initiatives while coordinating with HR, IT, and other finance teams.

The role requires 4–6 years of experience in financial control, strong IFRS/US GAAP knowledge, and hands-on ERP expertise (SAP/Oracle).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
CPA, CMA or CFA preferred.
4–6 years in financial control, accounting operations and reporting.

Responsibilities

Record-to-Report: lead implementation of new accounting standards and validate data accuracy.
Period Close: oversee month-end close, journals, accruals and reconciliations.
Compensation & Benefits: ensure payroll and benefits accounting compliance with HR.
Financial Reporting & Compliance: prepare/review statements; manage compliance risks.
Reporting & Analytics: design reporting systems; support ad-hoc analyses.
Accounting Advisory: SME for complex issues and strategic initiatives.
Cost Management & Planning: analyze costs; support budgeting and forecasting.
Process, Controls & Systems: maintain ERP expertise; recommend enhancements.
Collaboration, Projects & Stakeholders: manage projects; enable cross-functional alignment.
