Job summary

Remote Employee BPO is seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role oversees core accounting functions, including AR/AP, month-end close, and financial reporting.

You will manage P&L and balance sheet reviews, ensure accuracy, and support day-to-day accounting operations from a remote setting in the Philippines. The schedule is 5 days a week, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Philippine time, with an emphasis on accuracy and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA/CA/ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years of accounting or financial accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and month-end close.
• Experience with AR/AP and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of payroll processing and tax obligations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain records.
• Perform monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reviews, investigate variances.
• Prepare detailed balance sheet reconciliations and close processes.
• Oversee journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Process AP/AR and assist payroll; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare BAS and other statutory financial reports; support audits.
• Contribute to automation and process improvements.
