Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant with CPA qualifications to join our Hybrid team in Eastwood, Quezon City. The role covers month-end close, financial reporting, and collaboration with leadership on financial analysis.

The ideal candidate will handle P&L/balance sheet reviews, assist with annual audits, and drive process improvements within finance. This position offers day shift hours and a supportive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• CPA license or equivalent mandatory.
• Strong experience in monthly close and financial reporting.
• Ability to prepare and present management information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly P&L and balance sheets for the Group.
• Assist with Financial presentations for monthly management meetings.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and present results for review.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly Business Activity Statements for AU/NZ review.

Your Role

The Senior Financial Accountant - CPA is accountable for:

• Prepare and review monthly profit and loss accounts and balance sheets for the Group per the agreed month end timetable
• Assist with preparing Financial presentations for monthly management meetings for the Director's and Leadership team
• Reconcile and present all balance sheet accounts for review by the Group Financial Controller monthly
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly Business Activity Statements across Australia and New Zealand for review by the Group Financial Controller
• Assist the Group Financial Controller with Annual Audit preparation and data sample collection as required by the external auditors.
• Be the first point of contact for daily queries from the business or from within the team (when required).
• Assist to develop and drive process improvement strategies within finance and across the business
• Assist with detailed analysis of the business projects and business performance when required.
• Ad hoc projects as directed by the Group Financial Controller or the Senior Financial Accountant.
