Job summary

MicroSourcing is hiring a Senior Financial Accountant (CPA required) for a hybrid, day-shift role based in Eastwood, Quezon City, Philippines. The role focuses on month-end close, financial reporting, and cross-border statutory compliance.

The successful candidate will prepare and review monthly P&L and balance sheets, support management with financial presentations, and drive continuous process improvements across the finance function.

• Assist with preparing financial presentations for monthly management meetings
• Reconcile and present all balance sheet accounts for review by the Group Financial Controller
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly Business Activity Statements across Australia and New Zealand
• Assist the Group Financial Controller with Annual Audit preparation and data sample collection
• Be the first point of contact for daily queries from the business or from within the team
• Assist to develop and drive process improvement strategies within finance and across the business
• Assist with detailed analysis of the business projects and business performance when required
• Ad hoc projects as directed by the Group Financial Controller or the Senior Financial Accountant

Your Role

The Senior Financial Accountant (Philippines) is accountable for:

• Prepare and review monthly profit and loss accounts and balance sheets for the Group per the agreed month end timetable
• Assist with preparing Financial presentations for monthly management meetings for the Director's and Leadership team
• Reconcile and present all balance sheet accounts for review by the Group Financial Controller monthly
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly Business Activity Statements across Australia and New Zealand for review by the Group Financial Controller
• Assist the Group Financial Controller with Annual Audit preparation and data sample collection as required by the external auditors.
• Be the first point of contact for daily queries from the business or from within the team (when required).
• Assist to develop and drive process improvement strategies within finance and across the business
• Assist with detailed analysis of the business projects and business performance when required.
• Ad hoc projects as directed by the Group Financial Controller or the Senior Financial Accountant.
