DOXA is seeking a Senior U.S. Financial Accountant / Fractional Controller to independently manage monthly and year-end closes for multiple U.S. clients, ensuring accuracy under U.S. GAAP and accrual accounting.

You will prepare financial statements, oversee bookkeeping, and deliver monthly management reporting with KPIs and insights. Collaboration with clients and our advisory teams will drive budgeting, forecasting, and special projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.
• At least 5 years of U.S. financial accounting and reporting for U.S.-based clients.
• Experience with U.S. CPA firms or fractional CFO/controllership preferred; CPA-related experience a plus.

Responsabilités

• Independently manage monthly and year-end accounting closes for multiple U.S. business clients.
• Prepare accurate balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and related accounting records consistent with U.S. GAAP and accrual accounting.
• Oversee bookkeeping accuracy, resolve accounting issues, and support recurring fractional controller and CFO engagements.
• Prepare monthly management reporting packages with KPIs, variance commentary, and actionable insights, and analyze revenue, margins, operating expenses, profitability, cash flow, and budget-to-actual performance.
• Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, financial models, and working capital analysis, while collaborating with client stakeholders on special advisory projects.

The Role:

We're seeking a Senior U.S. Financial Accountant / Fractional Controller. This role is designed for an experienced accounting professional who can independently manage client closes, financial reporting, bookkeeping oversight, and financial analysis for U.S. businesses.
You'll play a key role in supporting controller and CFO engagements at a boutique CPA and financial advisory firm, preparing financial statements and management reporting that give business owners clear, actionable insight.

Location:

Location: Must be in The Philippines - Remote.
Environment: Philippines and International Teams.
Language: Advanced English (B2+ - C1).
Timezone: Monday to Friday - 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST.
Contract: Full Time

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.
• Experience: At least 5 years of U.S. financial accounting, reporting, and financial analysis experience for U.S.-based businesses; experience with U.S. CPA firms, outsourced accounting practices, or fractional CFO/controllership engagements preferred; additional degree in Finance and direct experience supporting fractional CFO or controller advisory work a plus.
• Skills: Advanced hands-on QuickBooks Online proficiency; strong U.S. GAAP and accrual-accounting knowledge; advanced Microsoft Excel skills; QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification, NetSuite, or AppFolio experience a plus.
• Characteristics: Able to independently close books, prepare financial statements, analyze financial performance, and manage competing client deadlines; excellent written and verbal English; sound analytical judgment, organization, and attention to detail.
