Job summary

Rise Internet in Cebu City seeks a Senior Finance Manager - Financial Reporting to lead the Group’s financial reporting across Rise PH, Synacy, and affiliates, owning the month-end close, consolidation, and statutory reporting. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will ensure IFRS/PFRS compliance and support audit readiness.

Qualifications

• CPA (Philippines licensed)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Audit background: at least 3 years of external audit experience with a Big Four or reputable firm
• Industry background: telecommunications, ISP, or digital infrastructure experience across multi-entity jurisdictions
• Strong command of PFRS/IFRS (PFRS 15, PFRS 16, PAS 16, PAS 36, PFRS 10)
• Advanced Excel skills and hands-on ERP experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to senior management and auditors
• Willing to relocate to on-site Cebu City

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close for all Group entities with timely delivery
• Prepare consolidated and entity-level financial statements and accompanying notes
• Lead group consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and currency translation
• Prepare management reporting with variance commentary against budget/forecast/prior periods
• Interpret new or amended PFRS/IFRS standards and assess impact on the Group
• Review intercompany billing and VAT/tax treatment with Tax team
