Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a facilities operations professional in the Philippines. You will operate, maintain and repair facilities equipment, monitor safety, and respond to production concerns to ensure continuous, efficient operation.

You will also lead technicians, prepare reports, and drive system improvements to reduce costs and extend equipment life. Travel is limited and collaboration with production is essential.

Qualifications

• Must understand electrical and/or mechanical concepts and procedures.
• Able to read, interpret and analyze electrical/mechanical diagrams.
• Minimum 6 years’ work experience in related fields.
• Proficient in MS Office and reporting.
• Prefer engineering background with hands-on maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair facilities equipment at optimum efficiency.
• Monitor safety policies, quality standards and shift activity.
• Lead the team to achieve objectives and communicate with production.
• Prepare reports and records; respond to emergencies and outages.
• Suggest improvements to save costs and extend equipment life.
