Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a qualified technician to support test operations and ensure equipment is ready for production.

You will set up testers, contactors, pins and handlers as needed, and execute preventive maintenance to keep machines running smoothly. You will analyze performance data, participate in corrective actions, comply with quality systems, and work with Supervisors to improve equipment effectiveness, MTBF/MTTR, and yield while maintaining 5S practices

Qualifications

• 2-year technical diploma in electromechanical, electronics or mechanical technology.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a production/test environment.
• Willing to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment for production and ensure readiness per PM standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and participate in machine qualification and buy-off.
• Analyze online performance data to drive improvements (productivity, quality, safety).
• Ensure compliance with quality systems and keep 5S in the area.
