Job summary

Sobha Glazing and Metal Works in Bangalore seeks a seasoned Tendering & Estimation Engineer to manage the end-to-end bid process for façade projects, review client enquiries, analyse tender docs, and prepare pre-bid documentation.

You will coordinate with design, planning, and purchase teams to develop feasible solutions, prepare quotations, negotiate with vendors, and ensure compliance with technical standards. BE/ME in Mechanical or Civil and 5–10 years' façade glazing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BE/ME in Mechanical or Civil engineering with 5-10 years' experience in Façade Glazing Industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire tendering and estimation process for façade projects.
• Receive and review client enquiries, analyse tender documents, and identify key requirements.
• Prepare pre-bid documentation and participate in pre-bid meetings to clarify scope.
• Coordinate with the design team to develop feasible solutions and value engineering options.
• Prepare detailed project quotations, negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing, ensure standards compliance.
• Submit commercial and technical proposals and attend negotiation meetings.
• Finalize offers per top-management input and feedback.
• After award, prepare handover reports and coordinate with project, design and planning teams.
