Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. seeks a Senior Estimator QS to lead cost estimation for major projects in Pampanga. You will analyze drawings, coordinate with clients and teams, and ensure precise take-offs and documentation.

The role is office-based with regular collaboration across stakeholders and historic data management. The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of cost estimation experience, a relevant bachelor's degree, and proficiency in Excel, Bluebeam, CostX, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of cost estimation experience in large-scale construction or engineering.
• Experience liaising with stakeholders and managing complex estimation projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree or advanced certification in cost estimation or project management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the preparation of cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment.
• Analyze drawings, specs, and requirements to determine cost implications.
• Collaborate with clients, PMs, contractors, and suppliers to reflect market conditions.
• Oversee quantity take-offs and deliver accurate, auditable calculations.
• Maintain records of estimates, historical data, and industry trends.

Job Description

Key Skills

• Lead and manage the preparation of comprehensive cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment, ensuring alignment with project goals and financial constraints

• Conduct detailed analysis of technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ascertain accurate cost implications

• Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure cost estimates reflect current market conditions and best practices

• Oversee and perform meticulous quantity take-offs, providing high-quality calculations that inform key project decisions

• Maintain and manage records of estimates, historical data, and industry trends to support future project planning and strategic decision-making

Qualifications and requirements

Experience

• 8-10 years of substantial experience in cost estimation, with a proven track record of success in large-scale construction, engineering, or related projects

• Extensive experience liaising with stakeholders and managing complex estimation projects

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field

• Preferred: Master’s degree in a relevant discipline or advanced certification in cost estimation or project management

Software

• Mastery of estimation software, including Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and CostX

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant design software

• Mastery of advanced estimation software, including Excel, Bluebeam, and CostX

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field

• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects with precision and a commitment to quality
