Job summary

Wawa, Inc. is seeking an ESOP and Retirement Plans Specialist to participate in the research, design and strategic development of all retirement plans, ensuring complements to Wawa’s Total Rewards offer.

Execute the retirement plans and conduct performance analysis to measure the effectiveness of the plans. The role requires collaboration with Finance and People Team leadership, managing plan communications, vendor oversight, and adherence to ERISA and IRS regulations, while supporting ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
• 5–7 years retirement plans experience including ESOP.
• Knowledge of Form 5500 and government filings.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and HR information systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly ESOP retirement plan statements and management reports.
• Lead quarterly Retirement Plans Committee meetings and communications.
• Partner with Finance and People Team on strategy and improvements.
• Forecast plan impacts and analyze performance for stakeholders.
• Ensure ERISA/IRS/DOL compliance and oversee vendors.
