Job summary

Wawa is seeking a Workday Security Administrator to manage security controls and provisioning within the Workday platform. This role acts as the subject matter expert for Workday security and stays current with security enhancements, releases, controls, and best practices.

You will drive strategic HR technology initiatives, design advanced configurations and integrations, and lead governance and compliance efforts to support a secure HR environment. Strong leadership and mentoring are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Workday certification strongly preferred.
• 5+ years in HR systems configuration/administration or similar field.
• Expertise in Workday modules, reporting tools, and integrations.
• Experience leading complex projects and mentoring team members.
• Familiarity with Agile; PMP a plus.
• 5+ years in Workday security, administration, and enterprise controls.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic HR technology initiatives and cross-functional teams.
• Design configurations, integrations, and custom reports in Workday.
• Lead system architecture decisions and provide technical guidance.
• Manage lifecycle of enhancements, testing, and deployment.
• Serve as SME for HR technology strategy, governance, and compliance.
• Oversee release management and evaluate new Workday features.
• Ensure security protocols and data integrity across the platform.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide technical leadership.
• Coordinate with business partners through annual HR cycles and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Information Security and audit groups on controls.
