Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Principal Contracts Manager in Pasig, Philippines to lead senior commercial and contracting activities for large-scale thermal and conventional power projects under FIDIC EPC frameworks (Silver Book). The role focuses on strategy, drafting, negotiation, and post-award administration to secure protective terms and optimize total cost of ownership.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in project procurement or EPC contract management.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience.
• Direct exposure to new-build power or large CAPEX projects is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead owner-side contract strategy and drafting for EPC, equipment supply, and long-term service agreements under FIDIC frameworks (Silver Book).
• Structure risk allocation, liability, performance security, liquidated damages, and milestone regimes.
• Develop and maintain contract templates and owner-position language for reuse across projects.
• Administer contracts post-award, including variations, notices, and interface management.
• Support claims, EOT, and dispute positioning with protective drafting and coordination with Legal.
• Coordinate with Legal, ERM, and external counsel on dispute avoidance and resolution strategy.
