Job summary

International Facility Engineering Pte Ltd seeks a Senior Engineer – Process Systems Specialist to lead concept and detailed design for process facility systems, including gas, environmental, ultra-pure water, and chemical systems. The role spans the full project lifecycle from concept to construction and commissioning.

You will coordinate with CSA & M&E teams, review engineering documents, and ensure successful customer sign-off while managing interfaces and schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in process systems design and engineering for large-scale facilities.
• Familiar with P&ID drawing standards and CAD tools.
• Ability to coordinate across engineering, M&E, and construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept and detailed design for process facility systems across the project lifecycle.
• Review and optimize designs for gas, environmental, ultra-pure water, and chemical systems.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and on-site teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
• Support commissioning and documentation development with the project team.
• Maintain engineering standards and ensure alignment with project goals.

Job description

Senior Engineer – Process Systems Specialist responsible for Gas, Environmental, Ultra Pure Water, and Chemical Systems. The prospective candidate will lead concept and detailed design for process facility systems across the entire project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

Responsible for Concept and Detailed Design for Process Facility systems for the entire course of the project (Conceptual Design, Detailed Engineering calculations, System & Component sizing, Budgeting, Drawing development coordination from Engineering up to Construction stage e.g. PIDs / layouts / sections)

Capable in interdisciplinary understanding and managing of relevant interfaces

Detailed understanding of all technical standards, drawing formats and symbols

Tendering process (e.g. Technical and Commercial bid evaluation)

Time and schedule management

Check and review engineering document and drawings for accuracy and completeness for submission and shop fabrication (e.g. Submittal Procedure)

Lead system design and reviews with customers and ensure customer sign off and approval

Review of all the bench mark data, scope and design change and contract variation aspects

Ensure Project Director/ Manager is kept aware of the process engineering design and construction progress and any cost and schedule impacts

Coordinate installations with sub-contractors on site

About you

Support CSA & M&E team for the design including CAD team and project effectively & efficiently

Involved in the Commissioning of Systems and develop the documentation with the sub-contractors

Consolidate and upkeep of in-house engineering Standards

Able to work independently

Able to travel/ relocate
