Job summary

JACOBS PROJECTS (PHILIPPINES), INC. seeks an experienced Senior Process Engineer to lead design delivery for water projects. You will contribute to feasibility, conceptual, and detailed design stages, performing calculations and preparing drawings and specifications.

The role requires 10–15 years in the water industry, with a track record in multi-disciplinary engineering design, and comfort working in a matrix environment. Consulting experience is a plus; site and office delivery demonstrated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with professional qualifications or equivalent experience.
• 10–15 years’ professional experience in water or related industries.
• CPD commitment through continuing professional development.
• Senior process engineering with multi-disciplinary design project experience.
• Consulting experience desirable.
• Experience delivering multi-disciplinary engineering design projects in site and office.
• Comfortable working in a matrix structure and team building.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and delivery of process engineering solutions across feasibility to detailed design stages.
• Perform process calculations and prepare design drawings and specifications.
• Develop technical reports, study documents, manuals, and procedures for operations, installation, commissioning, and start-up.
• Prepare tender and contract documentation, and conduct technical and commercial bid reviews.
• Define, manage, and deliver process-oriented projects with focus on quality and efficiency.
• Support proposal development and client presentations as a Proposal Manager when assigned.
• Engage in business development through client interaction and marketing events.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver water solutions.

Here's what you'll need

• Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with professional engineering qualifications, or relevant experience.
• 10–15 years’ professional experience in a relevant industry (e.g., Water Industry).
• Qualification and training will demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development.
• The candidate is most likely to have a general process engineering background with prior success in contribution to successfully delivered engineering design projects.
• Consulting experience is desirable.
• Experience should show senior process involvement in multi-disciplinary complex engineering design projects.
• A demonstrable track record of producing process engineering design work.Both site and office experience should be shown, as well as a track record of delivering to time and agreed quality.
• Has participated in team building initiatives and comfortable to work in a matrix structure.
