London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking an Embedded Risk Specialist to strengthen non-financial risk management, support regulatory compliance, and elevate risk practices across the organization. Reporting to the Senior Risk Manager in the COO Business Control Office – 1LOD, you will coordinate risk assessments, maintain GRC records, and mentor risk champions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in risk management or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of risk management concepts and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex risk concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proven leadership and mentorship abilities.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support execution and coordination of non-financial risk management activities, RCSA, control uplift programmes, business continuity planning, top and emerging risks, issues and events, IA actions and business maturity assessments.
• Coordinate and support the conduct of Risk Operating Committee meetings for the supported function, ensuring effective risk governance and decision-making.
• Support accountability for logging issues, events, controls, and actions in the GRC system.
• Support timely escalation and logging of risk events to ensure prompt resolution and mitigation.
• Support implementation and monitoring of risk management practices across the organization to minimize potential risks.
• Support evaluation and compliance with LSEG policy standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support assessment and management of regulatory risks, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.
• Document and adhere to procedures for Embedded Risk Management tasks, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Support oversight for risk and control aspects of transformation programs, ensuring risks are identified and managed effectively.
• Support and mentor the risk champions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and proactive risk management.
