Job summary

BTCPower Cebu Inc. is seeking a Senior Embedded Linux Engineer to own the Linux platform development for our high-power EV charging systems deployed in the field.

You will work on the BSP, kernel, boot chain, drivers, and production images, collaborating with hardware, firmware, and test engineers in Cebu and Irvine. This is a hands-on role close to hardware and modern embedded stacks.

Qualifications

• 6+ years developing embedded Linux software with at least one production-ready product.
• Strong C and Linux internals knowledge: kernel config, device trees, drivers.
• Hands-on Linux driver development or debugging experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the embedded Linux BSP end to end including kernel, device trees, bootloader, and production images.
• Develop, port, and debug Linux device drivers for custom hardware.
• Lead board bring-up with hardware engineers, validating peripherals and boot.
• Build and harden the boot chain with secure boot and OTA updates.
• Improve boot time, memory footprint, thermal behavior, and field reliability.
• Integrate builds and tests into CI/CD and HIL validation.
• Review designs, write documentation, and mentor mid-level engineers in Cebu.
