Job summary

BTCPower Cebu Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design, build, and scale the automated test platform for our EV charging systems. This role develops distributed software, simulation environments, and HIL infrastructure to exercise firmware and embedded Linux.

You will own test infrastructure end to end, contribute to architecture, triage failures, improve release velocity and certification readiness, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in software test automation or SDET roles.
• Strong Python and experience with REST and WebSocket APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the Python test-automation platform gating firmware releases.
• Grow automated regression coverage for EV charging flows and build HIL/SIL simulation.
• Build and own CI/CD pipelines with telemetry for pass/fail and root cause.
• Triage and reproduce failures across test framework, adapters, and firmware.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
