Job summary

Nightowl Consulting seeks an experienced electrical estimator to handle comprehensive project estimating. You will perform material, lighting, and power take-offs from drawings and specs, consolidating data into our estimating software for accurate bid submissions.

Responsibilities include preparing RFQs, evaluating vendor pricing, and determining subcontractor scopes with quotations. You will develop bids and change orders and assist in training junior estimators while maintaining strong GC

Qualifications

• Experience in all levels of electrical estimating.
• Ability to prepare detailed electrical estimates from limited information.
• Proficient in taking-off material, lighting, and power from drawings/specs.
• Capable of consolidating data from take-off sheets into estimating software.

• Perform all levels of estimating for projects.
• Accurately take-off all material, lighting, and power based on specs and drawings.
• Consolidate data from take-off sheets into estimating software.
• Prepare detailed electrical estimates from limited conceptual design info.
• Prepare RFQs and evaluate vendor pricing.
• Determine scopes for subcontractors and secure quotes.
• Develop bids and change orders with cost data for the Assistant Project Manager.
• Assist in estimating training for junior estimators.
