Job summary

Syntiant Corp. is seeking an experienced EDA Engineer to develop and maintain EDA tools and flows for ASIC teams while managing compute infrastructure. The role spans on‑premises and cloud platforms and involves licensing, repository management, and IP maintenance.

The ideal candidate holds an advanced electrical/computer engineering degree and 5+ years in EDA across multiple vendors, with strong communication skills and a track record in IP development and tool ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with EDA flows across multiple vendors.
• Experience with deployment and use of EDA tools on on-premises compute and cloud platforms.
• Experience with IP module maintenance and version control (Git, SOS).
• Inter-personal and communication skills: capable of writing proposals and presenting to customers.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot EDA software, pdk, workload management software, etc.
• Evaluate performance, monitor workloads, and analyze results for optimal operations.
• Support EDA environments (Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics, Pads) including license server management and project/environment setup.
• Manage on-premises and cloud compute for EDA tool usage and IP repositories.
• Develop, maintain, and migrate IP repositories and version control systems.
• Develop and improve operational procedures and standards.
