Job summary

Tata Electronics Limited in the Philippines is seeking an experienced AMS CAD Engineer to support and optimize CAD tools and design flows for Analog Mixed-Signal circuit design and verification.

You will automate workflows, collaborate with EDA vendors, and help ensure efficient tool utilization across front-end and back-end environments. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of AMS CAD experience and hands-on exposure to Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and Eldo.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing AMS CAD tools and design flows.
• Hands-on experience with EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, Synopsys Custom Compiler, or Eldo.
• Proficient in Python, TCL, or shell scripting for workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize CAD tools and flows for AMS design.
• Provide technical support to AMS design teams, troubleshooting tool/workflow issues.
• Automate design flows with custom scripts to improve productivity.
• Collaborate with EDA vendors to resolve tool issues and optimize AMS tools.
• Ensure seamless integration of AMS tools with front-end and back-end environments.
• Manage tool configurations and licenses.
• Maintain design guidelines and documentation for AMS workflows.
• Support AMS simulation environments (Spectre, HSPICE, Eldo) and debug simulations.
• Evaluate new AMS modeling/simulation tools and propose workflow improvements.
• Stay updated on EDA tech and AMS methodologies to drive innovation.
