Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field with relevant professional experience.
Experience liaising with government bodies and NGOs.
Experience in disaster response and humanitarian operations is advantageous.
Strong analytical, organizational and donor reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and monitoring of emergency response activities.
Compile, analyse and present information on disaster impacts and humanitarian needs.
Monitor budgets and resource utilization; identify funding gaps and propose adjustments.
Coordinate procurement, logistics, deployments and other operational requirements.
Prepare situation reports, donor reports, dashboards, maps and other documentation.
Support meetings, trainings and capacity-building for partners and staff.
Maintain project records and respond to information requests from stakeholders.
Engage with inter-agency mechanisms to strengthen coordinated response.
Monitor partner activity and ensure compliance with donor requirements and SOPs.
Contribute to SOPs, contingency plans and lessons learned; supervise staff as assigned.
