Responsibilities

• Oversee SLFP’s compliance with legislations, regulatory expectations, and internal requirements locally and in Canada.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulators and senior management.
• Develop policies, procedures and standards with the Compliance Department and business units.
• Advise on regulatory requirements and provide effective challenge to initiatives.
• Conduct training on rules and guidelines; chair committees when BUCO is unavailable.
