Job summary

CoDev Philippines seeks a Digital Building Support Engineer to provide expert technical support for our smart building platform, diagnosing and resolving complex issues in data ingestion, connectivity, and platform functionality to help clients optimize operations.

The role requires a strong BAS background, experience with network protocols (BACnet IP/MSTP, Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT), and cloud‑based SaaS platforms, plus excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in technical support, field service, or help desk roles.
• Experience with BAS analytics platforms or enterprise‑level SaaS is desirable.
• Vendor BAS certifications or ITIL/CompTIA or cloud certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Subject Matter Expert in advanced-tier technical support to customers via various channels, resolving escalated inquiries and critical issues.
• Independently diagnose and troubleshoot complex problems related to data ingestion, processing, and connectivity from diverse BAS and smart building sensors.
• Manage and investigate platform functionality issues, data discrepancies, and performance anomalies within the software.
• Interpret complex data insights and optimize system configurations for maximum efficiency and prioritization.
• Collaborate with Digital Building Engineers, Integration Engineers, and Software Development teams to elevate and prevent recurring issues, performing root‑cause analysis.
• Contribute to the technical knowledge base with solutions, troubleshooting guides, and best practices.
• Facilitate remote diagnostics and assist with complex data connection configurations at customer sites.
• Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to drive platform improvements.
• Stay updated on platform updates and cutting‑edge practices in smart building tech, data analytics, and troubleshooting.
