Job summary

Henkel is seeking a Senior Deductions Analyst in Makati to manage complex deductions, disputes, and recovery activities in a fast-paced shared services environment.

You will work with Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to review, resolve, and prevent deductions, while analyzing root causes and driving process improvements. A hybrid Makati setup and mid-shift schedule are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4 to 7 years of experience in deduction management, accounts receivable, trade promotion, disputes, or financial operations.
• Strong experience resolving deductions, disputes, short payments, chargebacks, or billing issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex deductions and dispute cases, including escalations and high-value items.
• Review and validate deduction claims, supporting documents, and customer account details.
• Investigate root causes of deductions and propose corrective actions to reduce recurrence.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to resolve pricing, promotions, invoices, payments, and claims.
• Track deduction trends and prepare reports, dashboards, and insights for business reviews.
• Support process improvements including standardization, documentation, automation, and controls.
• Ensure deduction activities comply with internal policies, audits, and quality standards.
• Provide guidance and peer-support on deduction processes and best practices.

We are looking for a Senior Deductions Analyst to support complex deductions, disputes, and recovery activities within a fast-paced shared services environment.

This role is suited for someone with strong hands‑on experience in deduction management, accounts receivable, trade promotion, disputes, or financial operations. The focus is not only on resolving cases, but also understanding root causes, improving processes, and helping reduce recurring deduction issues.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders across finance, sales, customer service, and operations to ensure deductions are reviewed, resolved, and prevented in a timely and compliant manner.

What you will do

Manage complex deductions and dispute cases, including escalations and high‑value items.

Review and validate deduction claims, supporting documents, and customer account details.

Investigate root causes of deductions and recommend corrective actions to reduce recurrence.

Partner with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues related to pricing, promotions, invoices, payments, and customer claims.

Track deduction trends and prepare reports, dashboards, and insights for business review.

Support process improvement initiatives, including standardization, documentation, automation, and controls.

Ensure deduction activities are handled in line with internal policies, compliance, audit, and quality standards.

Provide guidance and support to peers on deduction‑related processes, issue resolution, and best practices.

Support presentations, training materials, and stakeholder updates where required.

What makes you a good fit

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

4 to 7 years of relevant experience in deduction management, accounts receivable, trade promotion, disputes, customer claims, or financial operations.

Strong hands‑on experience resolving deductions, disputes, short payments, chargebacks, claims, or customer billing issues.

Able to analyze deduction trends, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions.

Experience working with cross‑functional teams such as Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, or Commercial teams.

Strong Excel and reporting skills. Experience with SAP is preferred.

Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, or other automation tools would be an advantage.

Good communication skills, with the ability to explain issues clearly and influence stakeholders.

Strong attention to detail, ownership, and follow-through.

Experience supporting continuous improvement, audit readiness, process controls, or documentation updates.

Amenable to work on a mid‑shift schedule, 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

Amenable to a hybrid work arrangement in Makati.
