Job summary

blaseek is seeking a Senior Data Security Lead to define and mature enterprise data security and governance capabilities. You will own architecture, engineering, and operations for data protection, DLP, insider risk, investigations, and AI governance, working with IT, Security, Legal, and Compliance to protect and enable data use.

Focus is on Microsoft security ecosystem: Purview, Defender, 365/Azure, and compliant data workflows; strong ownership, architecture thinking, and hands-on delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise security, data security, cloud security, or IT risk management.

Responsibilities

• Define and mature enterprise data security and governance capabilities across data protection, DLP, insider risk, investigations, and AI governance.
• Architect secure data architectures across Microsoft 365, Azure, Fabric, and integrated platforms.
• Define secure access models, encryption standards, and data flow architectures; review designs to embed protections.
• Architect, implement, and operate Microsoft Purview capabilities including Information Protection, DLP, Insider Risk, and eDiscovery; configure Defender across endpoints and cloud apps.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and reporting frameworks for data security.
• Lead insider risk monitoring and investigations in coordination with Legal, HR, and Compliance.
• Define governance controls for AI-enabled workloads and ensure responsible data use.
